About the project
Companies produce thousands of files daily, which must be updated and made available to all members of the various teams, even if in different geographies. For this reason, one of a company’s biggest challenges is connecting all employees to a single tool, which allows them to collaborate efficiently. Some time ago, one of the larger Italian insurance companies asked us for a solution that offered secure collaboration between the various branches throughout the area. The company’s main objective was to choose a solution to manage corporate data without using an external platform. Furthermore, the required solution had to allow access to work files from any workstation and enable the exchange of sensitive information between branches, guaranteeing high security.
Babylon Cloud's solution
Babylon Cloud’s team defined a win-win partnership together with the client. The project’s outcome was one single platform for storing, backing up and sharing the company’s data. Based on the client’s needs, we defined suitable packages of backup and sync&share, including personalized packages per storage and users, for every branch in Italy.
Babylon Cloud’s platform allows collaboration with colleagues and creates protected links with temporary access to files and folders for clients or partners. In addition, unlimited access to files from different devices makes the working process more flexible for employees, for example, in the case of remote working or business trips.
Moreover, data is secured and stored in the Italian data centre, guaranteeing data sovereignty and GDPR compliance.
