About the project
Our client is a non-profit company that needed a secure cloud backup solution. The primary request was to get a cloud-based solution that would enable enterprise data recovery. In the past, the company had an incident resulting in data loss due to a server failure, so the focus was on reducing the risks by using specific digital solutions. Our team has supported this need by providing a single cloud backup and a massive data recovery platform with no time limits, allowing the customer to protect the data and thus avoid data loss and business interruptions.
Babylon Cloud's solution
We have installed Babylon Cloud’s solution in the customer’s digital ecosystem to guarantee the highest levels of data protection, even in the event of technical problems or malicious activity. Data communication is encrypted with the HTTPS/TLS protocol at a logical security level. The files are transmitted to the cloud in segmented blocks of variable size, which will then be reassembled on the server side and renamed with a 512-bit hash. From a technical point of view, thanks to the client application, users can restore all their data with a simple click and download all versions of their documents, from the oldest ones to those saved a few seconds before the technical damage or virus attack. Babylon Cloud is an intuitive and easy-to-use platform: Employees can access files and folders wherever they are, from any device. Shared folders are protected, backup settings can be customized, and all features are within one user-friendly platform.
